This past weekend, my cousin Veronica came up from SoCal to meet Noah and spend a few days with us. We didn't do too much with her since Noah is still being a Mr. Grumpy most of the time these days. We did get in a walk to Starbucks with Cienzo and Noah in tow.
Veronica and Noah share the same birthday: Noah was born at 11:15pm and Veronica was born at 11:30pm. Of course, she was born 23 years earlier than Noah.
She brought him some really cute summertime outfits and a beach towel with Quiksilver boardshorts! He is so gonna be a water baby and of course a surfer dude since his mama's roots are at the beach!! She also brought him this cute little monkey blankie that Noah can carry around with him in a year or so. And also a super soft and cuddly stuffed doggie. Well, Cienzo discovered the puppy in the gift bag before she even gave it to us, and he laid claim to it right away. It was covered in slobber and crusty in about 30 seconds. Oh well....she learned next time to bring Cienzo a gift too! And later that night, Cienzo shared Noah's own gift with Noah. *sigh*
Eric and I decided to make Veronica Noah's Godmother, if she was willing to accept. So we asked her this weekend, and she said she was honored. =D Now Noah has one more official person to love and spoil him!!! Like he needed it! *wink*
