My baby the genius!

Okay, maybe he is no genius. But he is definitely smart.

When Noah was a few weeks old, Auntie Am bought him this adorable puppy named My Pal Scout. He is programmable to input a child's name, favorite color, favorite food, etc. Amber pre-programmed it to say Noah's name and it was so cute! But we didn't think Noah would be interested in it for a while.

Fast forward to a week ago. In a desperate attempt to quiet a fussy fit I turned Scout on and VOILA! He loves him! Eric programmed him to sing and say silly things. Noah just loves Scout so much, we take him everywhere with us to avoid meltdowns. Scout even sings 2, 5, or 10 minutes of lullabies at naptime! He is AWESOME!

The other day we were driving and of course Scout was with us in the car. Noah was all swaddled up from being asleep (he only sleeps swaddled) in his car seat and Scout was sitting on the carseat with him. All of the sudden Eric and I hear Scout start to talk, and we look at each other like "that was weird." THEN we hear it AGAIN! I look in the back seat and Noah had woken up and was kicking his feet to press Scout's button. He did it over and over again for about 5 minutes!! It was a deliberate action! And so stinkin' cute! See the video for yourself (below). Is he a genius?? You decide for yourself. :)
